Jody Gunderson

I started my finance career in Mortgage lending 24 years ago. I found a passion for helping people solve their financial puzzles and became a Financial Advisor in 2007. I have been fortunate to have worked in many different areas of the financial industry from working directly with clients to helping other financial advisors' sunset their practices to working on the investment product with private tax solutions and income generating investments. Those experiences have taught me a lot about this industry as a whole, giving me insight and a perspective that helps me better serve my clients. I enjoy the process of getting to know my clients on a personal level first, I feel that is the key to being a good Financial Advisor. Understanding my clients' lifestyles, goals, needs and wants comes first, then we can work financially based on these considerations. In my personal life I have been blessed with 2 sets of twins, which has been a massive lesson in multi- tasking, patience and learning not to sweat the small stuff. My husband has also been in the industry for over 30 years. He is a wonderful partner, both at work and at home. When not working, I love to be outside, hiking, biking, skiing, golfing and spending time with our kiddos. I also love to build and refinish things. My Zen time is spent in my shop with my tools and woodworking.
