Jeff Garcia

Jeff Garcia attributes much of his investment management perspective to advice he got from his dad during childhood, that “in the middle of difficulty is opportunity”. Many years later, convinced of his father’s brilliance, he humorouslylearned that it was actually Einstein who postulated that great ideas often come from great challenges. Following the Great Recession, the most challenging financial period in recent history, Jeff embarked on an intellectual journey that would push him to think outside the box and to consider strategies that challenged the status quo. His love for investment management, the capital markets and great ideas coupled with his dedication to client success, resulted in Jeff’s access to extraordinary minds and resources. In 2013, he represented the largest transparency firm in alternative investments globally and had near real-time access to over 5,000 hedge funds.

Jeff returned to his native Rochester, NY after spending 20 years in New England. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and is Series 7 and 66 licensed. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, woodworking, traveling and cooking with his girlfriend, being Funcle Jeff to his nieces and nephews and is an active Freemason.
